There has been a lot of buzz about the Cleveland Browns and what they are going to do come draft day. I want to know what you guys think the browns are going to do with the fifth pick? another question i have is who do you think the browns are going to trade before the draft Quinn Or Edwards?
My prediction is that the browns are going to take Crabtree with the fifth pick. I feel that this is a player that can make an impact right way. He has great hands(something that Edwards seemed to lack last season) and is a good route runner. He may lack some explosiveness but he makes up for it with his great hands and route running. The way he plays the position it reminds me of Larry Fitzgerald. I understand the browns have a lot of needs come draft day but this is a talent you cannot pass up.
First of all i do like Edwards and i feel that he can be an amazing player for the browns for along time. I am just going off what i think the Browns are going to do. I think the Browns are going to trade Edwards. With trading him this could give the brown another first round draft pick. I feel that we will be trading Edwards to the Giants. This could open up and give the Browns a chance to get Chris Wells. They could also get a DE or LB to help fill spots on defense. Edwards will be on the last year of his contract. His play last season was sub par only having 55 receptions, 873 yards, receiving and 3 TD. I also feel this was because it seems that management wants to get new players into Cleveland. We have already seen this happen with the Winslow trade.
Cdubbs late night post. Go Cavs!!!

I agree that they should take Crabtree w/ the 5th pick. Also, Cleveland needs to trade Edwards. Sure, he had one good year. He's already been crying about how the fans in Cleveland don't like him because hes a Michigan guy. If they don't trade him now, we'll never get anything for him. He won't sign another contract in Cleveland.
I hope Cleveland settles their differences w/ Shaun Rogers. He's a beast in the middle. BUT, I think we need to get another defensive lineman. Mangini and Rogers need to swallow their pride and suck it up and hopefully make a run for the playoffs.

C-dubb,
If I knew you were going to write that much, I would have given you your own article! But, J.V. and/or I will be posting an NFL Draft article in the near future here.
My take: If they take Sanchez, I'm done with this team. There is absolutely no reason to take him; even if they trade one of the two current QBs, I'd still rather have DA or Quinn moving forward than dirty Sanchez.
Crabtree is the choice here for multiple reasons (some already mentioned). First, he is probably the best overall player in the draft. Second, we have NO depth at receiver especially if we trade Braylon. I agree with BCorb, we'll never get Edwards to sign again in Cleveland, he's too much of a pansy.
With that being said, they can't go wrong with the DT B.J. Raji, DE/LB Brian Orakpo, or LB Aaron Curry if he slips (he won't).
